Researcher

  • Maria-Carmen Pantea is Associate Professor at the Social Work Department of 'Babeş-Bolyai' (BBU) University, Romania. Her interests are in the area of social entrepreneurship, work, youth and social exclusion. She is member of the Pool of European Youth Researchers of the EU-CoE Youth Partnership and member of the editorial board of the European Training Foundation. 

Maria-Carmen was proposal assessor for several EU programs (Horizon 2020, Marie Curie, Erasmus+, COST, European Science Foundation). Together with Raluca Diroescu, she carries out the assessment of Towards Collaborative Practice events. Maria-Carmen holds a PhD in Sociology (BBU), an MA with Merit in Gender Studies (Central European University) and an MSc in Evidence-Based Social Interventions (Oxford University).
